Founded on the belief that recreation, fun, challenge and access to the outdoors are an essential part of a healthy and fulfilling life, Shared Adventures is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people living with disabilities. Let’s Talk! Speech Therapy supports Shared Adventures which is based in Santa Cruz, CA.

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is the national professional, scientific, and credentialing association for 182,000 members and affiliates who are audiologists; speech-language pathologists; speech, language, and hearing scientists; audiology and speech-language pathology support personnel; and students.  Carol Fenwick is a long time member of ASHA.

 The Stuttering Foundation provides free online resources, services and support to those who stutter and their families, as well as support for research into the causes of stuttering.  

 The National Stuttering Association (NSA) provides support, friendship, and information to the stuttering community, instilling the sense of self-worth so often missing in the lives of those who battle this condition. 

The California Speech & Hearing Association is the state professional and credentialing association for speech pathologists and audiologists in the State of California. Their mission is “to foster excellence in the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology through education, advocacy and collaboration in partnership with the increasingly diverse population we serve.”  As a long time member of CSHA, Carol has served on the CSHA Advisory Board and was Continuing Education Chair for CSHA’s annual convention. In 2004, CSHA awarded Carol the Outstanding Service Award.  She was elected to the Nominating Committee for CSHA’s District 4.
