The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is the national professional, scientific, and credentialing association for 182,000 members and affiliates who are audiologists; speech-language pathologists; speech, language, and hearing scientists; audiology and speech-language pathology support personnel; and students. Carol Fenwick is a long time member of ASHA.
The California Speech & Hearing Association is the state professional and credentialing association for speech pathologists and audiologists in the State of California. Their mission is “to foster excellence in the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology through education, advocacy and collaboration in partnership with the increasingly diverse population we serve.” As a long time member of CSHA, Carol has served on the CSHA Advisory Board and was Continuing Education Chair for CSHA’s annual convention. In 2004, CSHA awarded Carol the Outstanding Service Award. She was elected to the Nominating Committee for CSHA’s District 4.
